You are hereby invited to be part of a journey, a very visual journey as we make our way together down the road that led to Golgotha, the "place of the skull", the place where our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, laid down his life willingly for you and me. What's different about this journey, however, is that the pictures we will pause and reflect on together, are not the usual ones we'd in the first instance associate with the Easter story. They are the obscure objects; the seemingly insignificant items; the everyday elements which can be easily overlooked if one were to rush through the occurrences. That's one thing we won't do along this journey - rush. The world is rushed and busy as it is, so come along and walk this Lenten journey with us - stop when you need to; pause to ponder; rest to reflect. The journey will be slightly different for each one as God meets us where we are along the way. That's OK. The destination is the same - Calvary's cross and the empty tomb. So, I hope you accept this invitation to be part of a journey that I hope will not leave you the same. God bless!
