The year is 2585. The galaxy is only just beginning to recover from the most destructive war in history between the now-defunct Sanhaeli Empire and the human United Interstellar Alliance. In the power vacuum left by the fallen empire, a private security corporation known as Blackout has risen to fill the void and challenge the UIA.

At the center of this new cold war, a man awakes in a hospital on the edge of civilization. He has no memory of who he is or how he got there.
