The knowledge of the joys of the Blessed Virgin Mary is complementary to the knowledge of her sorrows, which she suffered in union with her Son, Jesus Christ. The joys that were hers on earth and the joys that are now hers in heaven are innumerable. The following ten events can be ascribed as among the innumerable joys of the Blessed Virgin Mary, namely: i) the Annunciation, ii) the Visitation, iii) the Nativity, iv) the Epiphany, v) the Finding of Jesus in the Temple, vi) the Resurrection, vii) the Ascension, viii) the Pentecost, ix) the Assumption, and x) the Coronation. The purpose of this book is to aid people to further develop a greater devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Another purpose of this book is also to provide study materials for meditation on the ten joys of the Blessed Virgin Mary and to help people better appreciate the roles she played in the redemptive mission of Jesus Christ. Those who honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in her joys receive her special protection in life and at the hour of death. She fills their heart with consolation, she receives their soul at the moment of death, and she herself presents them to her Divine Son for the eternal redemption of their soul.
