The Running Father Oral Klaasen

The presence of fathers who will righteously lead and prepare their sons and the next generation for a greater impact upon their areas of influence, is paramount in healing the social ills of the day. It's really not that there is a scarcity of fathers, but rather a blatant absence and relinquishment in their responsibilities of provision, protection and empowerment. The provision and protection portion in being a strong father are the easy parts, but it gets complex when fathers needs to affirm and sanction their sons. It has become all too common to observe how fathers that should lead their families, are running away from their responsibilities. They are on the run although they are right there in the house, and they're also running by being physically absent to govern according to their divine design. It is either that they've made the playgrounds of entertainment their home, or have fallen into a web of misery and decided to stay in solitary places of silence. Whatever it might be, it still remains that fathers have removed themselves from being the nucleus of the family which is the foundation of healthy societies. The running father must diametrically alter his course from running away from his sons, to running toward them. He might not know nor understand the full extent of his turning but the impact it will have on the generations, will be particularly significant.
