Although there is no quick fix or panacea, the author shares the encouragement and hope that he experienced through flashlights, firelights, and searchlights that illuminated his way and slowly brought him into the dawning of a new day and a life of hope. As a young man of 37, Johnie Crumpler found his life in shambles and his future hopeless. The help he discovered, embraced and employed while a citizen of that dreadful place has inspired him to share his experience with others. This material was written as he made that journey from darkness into light.
