Deputy Cooper Hansen is a rescuer. If it's helpless or in trouble, Cooper if the man to take care of the situation. He's even gone so far as to marry, thinking he can solve 'their' problems with a ring. When his best friend, housemate and landlady, Liberty Sinclair, becomes the victim of a possible stalker, who vandalizes her home and car, she relies on Cooper to find him; although he assures him she doesn't need to be rescued. When the stalker threatens Cooper's daughter, Amber, he becomes even more determined to catch the guilty person. However, finding someone who leaves no evidence on the trail proves to be a monumental task. As things begin to escalate Cooper wonders, will he have to rescue Liberty after all?
