How Can I Know What the Lord Wants Me to Do? Jr James Thomas Lee

In the following pages of this text, many ideas will be presented that can help a person better know what the Lord wants him or her to do. Most of those ideas for effectively serving Him will be based upon verses like Jeremiah 29:12-13, John 3:16, II Peter 3:9, Luke 19:10, and Romans 5:6-8. Thus, when an individual can build his or her understanding around those kinds of teachings, then he or she will be well on the way to knowing what the Lord wants him or her to do. In chapter one of this text, it will be expressed that true biblical salvation should be better based on words like "SEEK", "COMMIT," and "TRUST" rather than holy, sinless living. The belief that will be presented at that time is that many saints focus so much on never doing anything wrong that they many times never do anything for the Lord at all. In chapters two, three, and four, the focus will be on some different ways to praise and to worship the Lord. No one will ever go wrong doing any of those things. Chapters five through eight will then talk about changing one's focus to be consistent with what is most important to the Lord, about how to hear His silent voice when He speaks to one's heart, and about spiritual gifts. Thus, the hopes with this text are that every reader will have a better understanding of what the Lord wants him or her to do and then that he or she will do it.
