With the onset of an increasingly expanding global economy, organizations are forced to begin the process of change. No more can we afford to say "that is not the way we do things around here." Ivory towers of commerce are crashing down and we find corporate offices are being traded in for co-working spaces around the globe. This book, like my first, has been written in coffee shops, airplanes, foreign countries, and even an IKEA store in southern Ohio. No longer are we bound by corporate locale and cubical prisons. Employees are no longer a commuting class but a remote class of worker.
