This book, Boys From Houston II - Deep in the Heart, is the second in a series of music retrospective books, providing more rare photographs, interviews with select musicians and fans, as well as introducing a broader spectrum of relative events and happenings influenced by the music revolution of the 60s and 70s in Texas. The book primarily expands some of the intimate stories of the venues, club owners, bands and event locations in and around Texas, as well as some of the effects of the California influence on the music revolution in Texas. The series is designed to continue with the goal of recording as much musical history of the 60s and 70s in Texas as possible, as we continue to bring more geographical music locations into subsequent series.
