The Hounds of Harlem L C King

The Hounds of Harlem follows quiet and awkward teen Brandon Parker who's mother has recently passed away. Brandon finds himself moving to the dead end town of Harlem where he stays with a man he refuses to call his father. On his first day at Harlem High Brandon meets local rebel, Marshall, who is late to class. Marshall takes Brandon under his wing, eventually getting Brandon to agree to trial for the former championship winning Harlem Hounds. From here the two, along with other friends Jay, Sione and Blob form a bond like no other, enduring the ups and downs of life in the pits of Harlem.
