Hundreds of books have been published in the field of urban design and conservation in the past decades; there is a need to dig for research papers that are found in periodical journals mostly published by institutes or universities. Education in the true sense is for actualization of self; a self which is fully integrated in social milieu. The right kind of education career to experience the integrated process of life and improve their understanding, performance in the society, as well as generate new values. At present, there are a large number of architectural institutions in Islamic countries, which are indiscriminately importing their education and research models from the West. There is no harm in utilizing Western concepts and techniques but a lack of understanding of the social order and its heritage has resulted in a fiasco. After four decades working in academic and professional career. Total of (10) papers have been chosen which were accepted and published in conferences in a period of few decades in English language . I would like to share these research papers in the fields of urban renewal and architectural conservation as I believe that I am committed to share such knowledge, which can be beneficial for scholars and professionals. These collections of papers in various themes tackle issues and matters that arise in urban areas and propose a solution to handle such challenges in Middle East countries. It has been extracted from original publications and converted to a book of essays. The themes names and dates of these conferences are shown on the first page of each paper. These essays edited in a way that is not following the restriction or the requirement of the periodical journals or the conferences proceedings.
