Rising early to meet The Father in the womb of the morning, has been a practice of mine since 2004. I can recall the first time I asked God to wake me at the time He wants me in prayer. The very next morning I was up at 3:13 a.m. on a weekday morning and had to be at work by 8:00 a.m. I was so elated to know that He heard me and responded so quickly. The night before I said to Him, if I wake up in the middle of the night and I am still sleepy, then I know it is not You calling me to prayer. But, if I wake up in the middle of the night and I am wide awake and not sleepy, then I know You're calling me to prayer. For many years I desired to rise early to meet God in prayer and now that desire has been fulfilled. What a joy it is. This short thirty-one days of devotionals will inspire, encourage and motivate you as you rise early to meet Him in the womb of the morning.
