Experience the story of Norbie, a homeless person who has lost hope in having a loving and joy-filled life after living through hateful and cruel incidences. Although the story is fiction, it contains events and feelings that could be experienced by hundreds, if not thousands of individuals, many living in our own communities. The story includes historical events and locations that are real. The characters experience emotions and wounds that are real. In Norbie's search for hope, he remembers stories his Father and Grandfather shared about owls, especially their belief that all owls imply wisdom, foresight, transition, and keepers of sacred knowledge. Throughout his life Norbie believes that an owl always appears to him when a life transition is near. He also meets Pastor Smith, another Voice of Wisdom. Following Norbie as he grows into his "true self" is a journey each of us can learn from as we walk our own personal path to a joy-filled life.
