Jalen wasn't just a little five-year-old boy, Jalen has Autism and he doesn't understand what makes him and his classmates different from all the other children in his school. Because Jalen loves the school that he was going to, because he was attached to his teacher Miss Cheerful and the new students, Jalen's Mom thought that going into a New School for Jalen would be hard for him. But Jalen's Mother was also learning about this disorder called Autism that grown-up people label others with, and this will put a distance between normal and what they call the abnormal.
