Diane Doheny lost her husband in 2007. She wrote The Other Side of the Door to chronicle her journey through grief and into a new existence.



In this inspirational memoir, Diane envisions her husband's death as a door. On one side was life with her beloved Terry, filled with joy and laughter. Even after Terry was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, an aggressive bone cancer, they made the most of every moment.



Then, Terry passed away after a heart attack, and that door slammed shut. On the other side, Diane faced a daunting expanse-a future without her husband. Could she bear to move forward with her life? Could she find happiness on this side of the door? With God by her side, she found the courage to create a new life while still remembering and honoring what went before.
