In Every Direction questions of the world we all live in, following several characters through their struggles with reality and control. The story covers several issues within our current society, including social pressure, the weight of military service, alcohol and vice abuse, and theological necessity and the role of the divine in a current world. In Every Direction follows two writers of polar opposite life experience, as well as a man who finds himself trapped in a mysterious room of mirrors with no way out. All three must figure out how to manage the situations the world has put before them, maintain control if their surroundings to the best of their abilities, while remaining sane and continuing to seek the fullness of life and happiness. This is a story about everything, about everyone, and about the ways of this world.
