Jacob Townsend inherits a two hundred year old map to the location of a gold mine in the Sierra Nevada mountains. However during a business trip to Caracas, Venezuela, Jacob and his friend, Jessica's rooms are burglarized. The only item missing is a copy of the map. On a piloted flight to Las Cristinas their plane goes down in the jungles of Venezuela, like an unknown hand trying to keep them from the the gold mine. They land in a river and trek through the wilderness. Hoping to find a village, they instead stumble into a cocaine manufacturer's hideout and are held captive. Will they make it back to civilization? Will Jacob's ancestor, Eliza's journal lead them to the gold mine in the Sierra Nevadas? Or will the mine be their final resting place?
