"The prayers in this book were prompted from deep within my soul during a period of time when I was suffering from post-trauma. Nights were the most difficult. I experienced feelings of terror. I felt paralyzed and too frightened to pray using my own words. My faith in a loving God was never-the-less intact and the thought occurred to me that I could pray the Lord's Prayer. I was spiritually prompted to hold each word or phrase of the prayer and listen for The Still Small Voice Within. New words did come.
