Jewel is the youngest of five and feels like everyday is a challenge. She doesn't have anything in common with her siblings due to the gap in age, she is unaccepted by majority of the students at her new school, and her father doesn't love her. She tries to keep a level head, but everyone has a breaking point. Jewel also finds love and an enemy all at the same time. She doesn't quite understand why this girl hates her so much, but eventually she finds out.
