Seven Years Later Dewana Lenae

Can you imagine a seven year pregnancy? We know it is physically impossible. Yet, that is how I would describe my spiritual journey from the time I received the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ until I actually began to walk in my calling, seven years later. I felt it appropriate to compare my journey to a pregnancy because just like when a woman is with child, I, too, experienced mood swings, weight gain, unnecessary cravings, wardrobe changes, broken habits, water breaking, labor pains. Then, I had to push until I gave birth to what was produced. I hope the story of my journey encourages you to persevere, progress and produce what God has birthed in you.
