This volume completes the family of 1.2. James Daugherty, son of James and Mary Jane Stanford. The narrative continues the story of the children of Charles Daugherty, son of James and Lettie. It picks up the narrative starting with Jason Edward Daugherty, the second son of Jason Daugherty's first family. It then goes on to discuss the family of Jason's second marriage. The rest of the children of Charles and Mary Anne Pettigrew Daugherty are briefly discussed. The story then finishes with a brief overview of the three remaining children of James and Lettie: Eunice, Sarah and Andrew. Detail was limited somewhat because of consideration of space, and also protecting the privacy of living descendants. Thus concludes the interesting history of 1.2. James Daugherty, the second son of James and Mary S. Daugherty. Texas. The remaining children of James and Mary S. Daugherty will be discussed in following volumes.
