STORY LINE OF BOOK TWO -- Henry Made Aware is the second book in The Henry Series. Henry is a mischievous, tender- hearted boy, who is now seven years old. At the end of Book One, his family moved to be near Grandfather after Grandmother passed away. Henry misses his grandmother and becomes very sad. He is also trying hard to adjust to his new home and surroundings when one bad thing after another after another happens. This is the dawning of reality for Henry. What is Henry supposed to do about all the sad and bad things that are part of living in a world that is far from perfect? Henry tries to have fun so his troubles will go away, but that doesn't work. In fact, it causes more problems. So, Henry reacts with sadness and anger. Those responses only make matters worse. Finally, Henry becomes aware of God's great love and care. He learns to ask our Lord for help. Henry understands the importance of having a grateful heart, instead of a grumpy one. God's way of prayer and gratitude become Henry's way to deal with unkindness, disappointment, and grief. After all, God's way is the best way!
