When Quark's father goes missing in the teeming streets of Mumbai, India, the young boy sails the family boat down the Malabar coast to find him. With several of his father's friends lending support, Quark must navigate a world of espionage, artificial intelligence, and terrorism as he discovers that his father is not the man that everyone thought him to be. But it's also a voyage of self-discovery for both father and son, one who longer accepts the idea that his world is real and the other who tries desperately to have it be so.
