St. John's Episcopal Church is a progressive Christian community located near the shores of Lake Harriet in the community of Linden Hills in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. This brief history of St. John's tells the story of the origins of St. John's as an interdenominational Sunday School in the late nineteenth century, its establishment as a mission church in 1903, and the subsequent events that made St. John's the welcoming, progressive community it is today.
