The Poetic Books: A Pastoral Perspective is a unique approach to the five biblical books of Hebrew Poetry. This work is not intended to serve a necessarily academic purpose, but neither is it meant to provide only devotional nuggets designed mainly for personal introspection. Instead, it comes from the perspective of a pastor with more than thirty years of experience and has in mind an audience of those who are currently, or hope to someday, serve the church in pastoral ministry.
