The ability to engage in a full and happy life, as well as an ethical one, depends in large part on our ability to use and develop our character strengths across various domains of life. The more we deploy strengths like compassion, integrity, perseverance, justice as examples, the greater well-being we experience and the greater positive impact we leave on the world too. This facilitator's manual offers the tools to learn about and teach the 24 character strengths in the university classroom and beyond and is designed for use in the GCC nations (United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain). It includes in-class activities, reflection questions, as well as homework tasks that suit a university population.
