Marmal the Blue-Ribbon Sheep was the kindest and most beautiful animal on Shalom Farm. She loved nothing more than helping all the other animals and had won the blue ribbon for best sheep every year since she had been a lamb. Now, the annual country fair was approaching once more and the people of Ridgetown were excitedly preparing themselves for the yearly competitions involving everything from farm animals to jam. Farmer Bob made sure that Marmal was looking her absolute best by fluffing up her wool and polishing her teeth until they sparkled, before loading her into his truck and driving to the fair. But Marmal was facing tough competition this year, in the form of Eloise, a nasty sheep from a neighbouring ranch. With nothing much nice to say about anything, Eloise teases and ridicules Marmal with nasty snide comments, while kicking mud at her. Can Marmal ignore the taunts from the unpleasant Eloise and can she win the blue ribbon one more time?
