Flying Blind Howard Hammerman
Flying Blind
Howard Hammerman
Dan Goldberg's marriage is in trouble because of his aluminum mistress, a 30-year-old single-engine Cessna. He tries to support both his family and the airplane by teaching monthly statistics classes in Washington D. C. One fateful Monday, Richard, a Jamaican taxi driver, offers him a fistful of cash for a short flight to New Jersey, but the trip turns out to be a drug run. The deal goes sour and Dan is left with two duffel bags, one filled with cash, one with cocaine.
That's when he meets Maria, a sexy Latina with a dubious past. Dan's view of himself and his lift shifts, first gradually and then dramatically when the cartel tracks him down. Dan's skills keep the couple alive but no matter how high he flies, he can't escape the consequences of his actions.
