LOVE is a complex saga dealing with the concept of love deriving from the supernatural elements which instigate its development. Love is approached from a thematic exploration where old men and young women fall in love. However, in one particular case, a young man is thwarted when he loses his girlfriend to a middle-aged suitor which instigates jealousy leading to mass murder. Jodiga loses his childhood lover to a middle-aged man. Jodiga resolves to get back at the teacher for taking his girlfriend. Therefore, Jodiga and his gang raid the school yard with the specific purpose of murdering the middle-aged school teacher who has scooped up his soul mate. With the help of his parents Jodiga escapes to avoid capture. Jodiga ends up being a fugitive from justice where he flees to South Africa only to get involved with a transgender persona. Jodiga commits another murder while in South Africa only to return to Kenya. The authorities eventually corner Jodiga while he has taken his former girlfriend, Wangai, and her family hostage. Surrounded by the Kenyan Police Force, Jodiga commits suicide. Wangai, although eighteen years old, marries her English teacher; they anticipate living a full and happy life. Her teacher, Mr. Dupree, has a grown daughter, Anu, from a former marriage. Anu meets a man, Malcolm Mwangi, a college professor in America who is also a time traveler and he is being pursued by a squadron of homosexuals from an alien planet in the future. Love investigates and explores the concept of love. But love is more than a concept; it is a sentiment which manifests in dual dimensions. First, there is love which stems from passion, yet there is another aspect of love which evolves from compassion. This drama tries to address both essential aspects of love. It further distinguishes love from true love. It exploits the implication of parental love when Jodiga's parents break the law to save their son who has committed a high crime. Love is complex, because we have two heroes and two heroines. Oliver Dupree and Malcolm Mwangi set as the two heroes while their wives Wangai and Anu, respectively, set as the heroines. These two couples have unorthodox love relationships which are destined to work despite the great difference in age in the case of Dupree and Wangai, and in the case of Mwangi and Anu. Malcolm Mwangi is a fugitive in time that has been chased into the past by aliens who want to make sure that Earth is entirely wiped out with heterosexuality.
