The Unknown Color
Gabriel Mendoza García
On April 1, 2016, at zero hours, three minutes and thirty-three seconds, Gabriel's heart stops for a thousandth of a second, his breathing is cut and, a cluster of neurons makes him believe that it is a magical moment. At the same time, in the lobby of the nightclub Bus Palladium, located at the corner of Rue Pierre Fontaine and Rue Jean-Baptiste Pigalle, Dahlia begins to look in every possible direction, trying to find her usual group of friends. Gabriel believes that their looks have crossed, as she stares in the direction of where he and James are seated. Dahlia notices that there is somebody rare in that place, because it does not look like French. Then she places her friends, who already have a reserved place near the stage. Gabriel loses the floor and believes that any previous event has taken him up to that point. The unknown color he has been searching so hard, has now materialized in Dahlia's gaze.
