Through the Year with Poetry and Prayer Millie Adams

Millie Adams has been writing poems for over thirty years, most specifically as the Christmas greeting she and her husband of 41 years have been sending. As a minister's spouse presenting UMW programs, speaking for church activities and substituting as a Sunday School teacher, Adams wanted to use poetry to enhance her presentations, but often could not find one to fit the subject. She began writing scripturally based poems relating to each of the seasons of the church year. This book is a collection of many of the poems Adams has written. Each poem is accompanied with a prayer focus which can be used with the poem or standing on its own.
