Known by many children as the "teacher who dances on his desk," Eugene Gagliano is an elementary schoolteacher and writer with a great sense of humor. Amember of the Wyoming Writers, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Eugene has been published in Chicken Soup for the Preteen Soul, and his first book entitled Secret of the Black Widow, was published in 2002. Eugene and his family live in Buffalo, Wyoming. Award-winning artist Susan Guy is known for her colorful paintings of equine and western themes. Her work has been displayed in numerous galleries and exhibitions as well as in the permanent collections of the Phippen museum in Arizona, and the Pierce Western Art Collection at Navarro College in Texas. She and her husband, Wesley, share their Buffalo, Wyoming, home with their two dogs.
