The sequel to Althia's Awakening, Althia's Calling picks up where the first book left off: our heroine is expecting a child as her life's path is slowly revealed. Her spirituality asserts itself, bringing Althia to her ultimate calling, through her loves and losses, pains and joys, and sometimes unnerving experiences. Althia is inspirational and courageous in the face of it all.

Althia's Calling never falters, consistently conveying a spiritual message. Although Althia has grown since Althia's Awakening, she is still asking the same philosophical questions that the ancients have asked from the dawn of time: Why are we here? What is our purpose? Who is God? Some of the answers she receives set her off on her journey.
