I was born in a small town called Bagley, Minnesota. It would be a long hard journey for me. Along the way would be abuse, neglect, and mental health issues. But through it all I made it beyond my hardships to become an author in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. You too can live beyond your circumstances and reach out to the good Lord to "change your scars into stars." When you read my book, remember that I care about you. I hope that my autobiography will make a difference in your life, and if I help even one person, my book will be a success to me. Living with mental health issues is hard. We may not show signs of the emotional pain we feel and many of us "live inside," for fear of exposing our imperfections to others.
