Rafael F. Narvaez earned a Ph. D. in sociology at The New School for Social Research in New York. He is an assistant professor of sociology at Winona State University in Minnesota. His research interests include the intersections of sociology, psychology, and biology. Recent publications include "Embodied Collective Memory: The Making and Unmaking of Human Nature" (2013) and ""The Study of Bio-Psycho-Social Memory"" (forthcoming)."
