The year is 1994, and a young soldier has arrived to the 82nd Airborne Division for the first time. He understands that the Division is a prestigious and tough unit to be assigned to. What he doesn't understand is that the Division moves at 100 mph, and maintains this speed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Division tells the story of life on Ardennes Street, from the time the author arrived to when he finally left at the end of 2005, covering all the hardships and the realities that almost every person who has served in the Division has lived through or seen. If you are one of the thousands of paratroopers assigned to any of the nine infantry battalions in the Division from 1995 to 2005, you are guaranteed to relate to these daily moments and even laugh a few times. One thing you will agree by the time you finish Division is that ALL leaders better be on their A game if they expect to make it out of the 82nd successfully.
