An estimated 15 percent of couples have trouble conceiving. Globally, that equates to roughly 48.5 million couples experiencing infertility. Of that, about 10 to 20 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage. Yet it is still a very taboo topic and many women and couples suffer in silence.




Rena Ejiogu always knew she wanted to be a mom. She had wanted children her whole life, but her journey to motherhood was filled with many ups and downs as she and her husband, Uche, traveled the infertility gauntlet from 2009 to 2017. When trying naturally didn't work, Rena and Uche tried everything from Clomid to intrauterine insemination (IUI) to in vitro fertilization (IVF) to surrogacy.




Throughout the process, Rena experienced the heartbreak of seven miscarriages including one preterm birth. Today, Rena is the proud mom of two beautiful children. Rena's experience created a deep calling to help other women and families struggling with infertility. The more that women share their stories, the more they can relate and heal.
