An aircraft boneyard is a place where airplanes go to be reused or recycled, to wait out their final days, or to be picked up by another carrier. When Ryan finds himself at the boneyard, he feels completely discouraged. All he wants to do is fly!

Soon, though, when he sees all the other airplanes lined up wing to wing, he's able to make friends as they share their stories about how they, too, ended up at the boneyard. Chippy, Gil, Pearl, and Jay all encourage Ryan to look on the bright side. Through education and friendship, Ryan will soon see that the boneyard isn't all that bad.
