It's about living with my grandparents. They were sharecroppers. It's about a dog that hurt me. It's about the dresses I wore and brooms we used to make. It's about my mom and dad getting a divorce. It's about how hard my mother worked after the divorce. It's about our stepdad and how we were treated.

It's about what happened to me at the age of eight, and how hard it was to deal with life after that. It's about me at the age of ten when I had to step up and take care of my brother and three sisters. It's about how hard I worked to get things done for us. It's about how I lost my brother running a hog in the woods. It's about the man that came into my life when I was eighteen years old. It's about how long I knew him before we got married.

It's about our hardships when we had to go to war. It's about our R & R in Hawaii. It's about when my husband came home and the loss of my only brother. It's about how hard it was on me and what I went through after my brother was gone. It's about us being stationed in Izmir, Turkey.

It's about the jobs I worked when we came home. It's about when my husband retired and we bought a restaurant. It's about what happened to us when we came home from work.
