Finding what it takes to keep moving forward, however, is a far more challenging trialcertainly one greater than any man deservesand reaching it will cause more pain than any one girl ever could. It demands that he look upon himself in the most vulnerable way possible: honestly. No excuses, no facades, and nothing left to hide. And nowhere left to hide it. Just a broken boy standing naked before himself, one who must ask of his own heart to relive his time with her and answer only one question: how could such a friendship crumble apart until theres nothing left but that which wont die?

It is regret. But buried somewhere far deeper is a truth that can only become known once all the other shit has taken its toll, and even then, its still one that must be accepted by he who is faced with it. Moving on is not just a journey; its also a choice.
