Olivia gets stood up at the altar then meets rugged cowboy Cole who is engaged to a lawyer, Kathrin Page. When Olivia goes on her honeymoon with her sister, she meets Jake who ends up following her all the way back to Rockford. After being kidnapped by the town's sheriff, she gets rescued by Jake who then in turn kidnaps her.

Kathrin put Karl Seasons away ten years ago, knowing he was innocent but still doing her job. Now out of prison, he is going after everyone involved in the case, and Karl was killing his way to her, then kidnapping her. Now Cole not only has one woman he loves kidnapped but two, and going after the two proved to be exhausting.
