Gord Francis started to read adult sci-fi when he was sick at home in grade three with the Foundation series or Tarzan piled up three or four high beside his bed, interspaced with Perry Mason and The Silver Chalice, a habit he still indulges in, with ten volumes beside his bed at the time of this writing.
