Winston Churchill, a former prime minister of the United Kingdom, gave a famous speech to his people when they were afraid and panicking in the middle of World War II: "Do not give up, and take courage! Do not give up! Do not give up! Take courage!"




"Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters. They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits' end. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven." (Psalm 107:23-30)




If you have courage and consistently believe that you will overcome. God will give you serenity in your heart and calm the situation as Jesus calmed the storm at Galilee. So it is my prayer for you today that God will give you courage and calmness and help you walk on water even on stormy days. Amen.
