My intent for the title 'Til Death Do Us Part developed from my firm belief in honoring a commitment of this level to not only another person but also yourself. You see, I grew up in a single-parent household and learned firsthand how hard it was to understand why and how this could happen. After all, I was the child learning how to develop into an adult in a very unstable environment, so I was very motivated to make sure that this would never happen to me. So I was intent on honoring this commitment from a very early age.
