Much attention has been given in the last 50 years to the question of the "last days" before Christ's second coming and what will follow that marvelous event. "What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" asked His disciples. Several portions of Bible prophecy taken together give us many details. Out of this study and exegesis of God's Word comes a great deal of information regarding "The Last Days before Forever." This is part of our assurance that God is sovereign and is in control. The assumption, and I think it is a good one, is that Bible prophecy was written to be understood, not to produce mystery and confusion. I have attempted to organize this material in a fashion which is easy to grasp. We may not know it all, but we should know what God has given us in order to give an account of the hope that is within us. It is healthy with regard to prophecy to look backward and allow it to build our faith, to look at the present and have some degree of understanding about where we are in the unfolding drama of God's story. It is also good to look forward and to imagine how these things presented in prophecy might be fulfilled, to be ready even though we are not given the day or the hour, to live with hope and expectancy as we place our trust in Him. We should not shy away from our search for understanding simply because it is difficult. God's Word, and particularly God's prophecy, was given to be understood. God has done His part; it is for us now to discover. We should enjoy the journey! The Glossary and Scripture Index alone are worth the price of the book.
