Meditation, of almost any style or technique, is an exercise that focuses on the body's nervous system (of which, the brain is a major part of). Calming the mind to be in the present moment; to creating higher levels of energy in the mind and body to heal (physically, mentally, and spiritually) through meditation, always involves exercising the nervous system. When we calm our thoughts, we reduce neural activity in the brain. When we relax our bodies of tension, we are using our nervous systems to do it. Neural Meditation helps one to better understand what meditation is, and how the different styles work. It can be integrated into almost any style of meditation. It answers questions like; "What style of meditation should I try? How do I know if i'm meditating? How will I know when i'm feeling energy?"
