Primitive Politics and the Poverty Machinery

Politics deals with the administration of societal affairs towards enhancing interpersonal interaction for a peaceable co-existence in progressively adapting to the dictates of nature. Simply put, politics in general entails the creation, provision, maintenance, development and promotion of a conducive environment for a harmonious and progressive interaction of humanity in a given territory. The creation of such a conducive environment is necessitated by the need to help people in timeously taking advantage of opportunities and guarding against threats that are encountered from time to time. Now, having generally understood the meaning of politics as highlighted above, we then have to look at what is it that we call primitive politics and the reasons behind it. Simply put, Primitive politics is the adoption of archaic and irrelevant approaches and mechanisms in the administration of human affairs in a contemporary society. In its basic form, Primitive politics is the failure to create, provide, maintain, develop and promote harmonious and progressive strategies that must help people to co-exist or to fairly access the available resources.
