The Lenten path is a path of pilgrimage. We journey along with Jesus as Christ approaches the events of Holy Week. There are as many paths to the cross as there are roads towards Jerusalem. In this devotional, the season of Lent is set aside to look at Christ's teaching known as the Beatitudes. Focusing on the Beatitudes as expressed in the Gospel of Luke, this devotional seeks to guide us towards the cross by exploring how Jesus both taught on the subjects of the Beatitudes and lived out their message while ministering alongside the disciples on the way towards Calvary.
