Rainbows: A Children's Book on Unity of All People, teaches children the importance of building relationships with all people, even if they are different from us because ultimately, we are all the same--human beings. Cheryl Green, is a nurse, nursing professor, and social worker. She enjoys the simplicity of children's books. However she notes, that it is the deeply profound themes in children's books written in simplicity, that captures the imagination and promotes intellectual, spiritual, and compassionate awareness toward others. The latter teaches life lessons through characters and may bring about a sense of unity in differences.
