Prayer is communing with God. Prayer is inviting God and heaven's resources into your earthly circumstances. Prayer is a conversation which consists of talking, listening, and understanding. Prayer can be done in private and public. Prayer can be written or spoken, in silence, whispered, or aloud. As a strong believer in the power of prayer the author designed this journal to encourage you to build a collection of prayers: your own and those known as common prayers that you may hold dear to your heart. Documenting your prayers is an intentional way of spending time with God in a private space and sharing your deepest feelings with Him. Utilizing this journal also gives you the opportunity to track God's responses to your prayers. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
